Atty. Viernes earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Marketing Management, from San Beda College – Manila in 2003. He continued his legal education at the same institution, obtaining his Bachelor of Laws degree and passing the October 2012 Bar Examinations. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar on April 25, 2013.

Before co-founding VCMP Law, Atty. Viernes practiced as an Associate Lawyer at Saludo Aquino Fernandez Agpalo & Taleon Law Offices. He also served as a legal consultant to Congressman Francisco Ashley L. Acedillo in the House of Representatives (17th Congress), and the City Legal Office of Taguig City.

Currently, he serves as a consultant for several companies, including Prime@Technology Specialists, Inc. and its affiliated businesses.

His areas of expertise include corporate law, criminal and civil litigation, election law, intellectual property, and labor and employment law.

A native of Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Atty. Viernes is a proud member of Lex Talionis Fraternitas, Inc.
